Motorola today introduced the Edge 60 Neo, the successor to last year’s Edge 50 Neo, delivering a familiar 6.4-inch 1.5K P-OLED display alongside upgraded core hardware and expanded AI features. The new model debuts MediaTek’s Dimensity 7400 chipset paired with up to 12GB of RAM, and it runs Android 15 with a commitment to five OS upgrades and five years of security updates. The Edge 60 Neo will launch in Europe this month, India and other markets will follow soon.
Display and Performance
The handset comes with a 6.4” 1.5K flat LTPO P-OLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, up to 3000 nits peak brightness, HDR10+ and protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
Under the hood, an octa-core Dimensity 7400 built on a 4 nm process and Mali-G615 MC2 GPU handles demanding tasks, while storage options span 128GB to 256GB with 8GB or 12GB LPDDR4X RAM.
Battery and Charging
Motorola has significantly boosted battery capacity to 5000 mAh, up from 4310 mAh, and continues to support 68W wired TurboPower charging along with 15W wireless charging. The company claims the larger cell will deliver noticeably longer runtimes without sacrificing fast-charge speeds.
Cameras
Photography remains a highlight with a 50 MP Sony LYT-700C main sensor (f/1.8) featuring optical image stabilization, a 13 MP ultra-wide camera with macro mode, a 10 MP telephoto lens offering 3× optical zoom and 4K video capture. The 32 MP front camera also records in 4K@30fps and the phone’s portrait mode adds four focal lengths plus a “Dynamic Bokeh” effect with six intensity levels.
AI Features
Motorola’s new moto ai platform powers a Photo Enhancement Engine that blends exposures and refines details automatically. Users can apply AI-tuned “Signature Styles” to images, and features like “Next Move” suggest context-aware actions—such as saving recipes or scheduling appointments—based on on-screen content. Additional generative tools include Image Studio for creating avatars and stickers, while support for multiple AI assistants gives users choice.
Build and Connectivity
The Edge 60 Neo carries IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance plus MIL-STD 810H certification for military-grade durability. Connectivity encompasses 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos supports for multimedia.
