iQOO has kicked off its promotional campaign for the upcoming iQOO 15 by unveiling a bold new design featuring an oversized camera module in the upper-left corner of its glass back cover. “The phone is stronger, more restrained, and therefore more elegant,” said iQOO’s product manager. “The camera deco is like a spaceship floating on the glass back cover, and it is the coolest Deco design at the moment.”
Design, Cameras and Battery
A leaked live photo shows the iQOO 15 in a dynamic red-to-white gradient finish with gently curved edges, underscoring a fresh aesthetic direction for the brand. On the rear, the device is expected to house a triple-camera array led by a 50-megapixel main sensor (1/1.5-inch) alongside a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. Powering the package is said to be a 7000 mAh battery, promising extended endurance for heavy users.
Display
According to product manager Ge Lan V, the iQOO 15’s 2K display surpasses both 1.5K Android panels and Apple’s 17 Pro Max Retina screens in static and dynamic image detail. With first-frame brightness reaching 98.1%—outpacing the industry average of 80% and Apple’s 96.69%—the panel claims to eliminate font and motion ghosting. The 6.85-inch custom Samsung Everest AMOLED features LTPO technology, ultra-narrow bezels on all four sides, and Pol-less depolarization for reduced power draw. Peak brightness is tipped at an astonishing 6000 nits, complemented by an AR anti-glare film, making it one of the costliest smartphone screens to date.
Performance
Benchmark leaks place the iQOO 15 at the top of Geekbench charts, posting scores of 3,824 in single-core and 12,402 in multi-core tests. These figures stem from a prototype powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset and cooled via an expansive 8K sq. mm vapor-chamber system—believed to be the largest ever fitted in a phone. The test unit also packed 16GB of RAM and ran Android 16, indicating that Google’s latest OS will ship out of the box.

Launch Details
iQOO has already opened pre-reservations for the 15 in China. The smartphone is expected to debut officially on October 20, shortly after the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 unveiling at Snapdragon Summit 2025. An Indian launch is slated for the second half of November, with leaked pricing suggesting a starting tag below Rs. 59,999.
