Truly smooth beyond belief, smooth beyond comprehension, smooth as silk. As the name says it all. This masterpiece of a phone is probably the best owned device in my stable. A true reportoire of many capabilities like lighting fast charging, fabulous finger print sensor, top of the class display that will keep you staring at the screen for endless hours. The Hassleblad Powered camera module is a cherry on the cake. The quality of pictures rendered on this phone’s triple camera setup is a true delight to the beholder. It will put to shame some of the most well established camera behemoths dominating the market and can easily give them a run for their money. Powered by a Snapdragon 8 gen 3 chipset under the hood, this is the fastest and meanest Android chipset from Qualcomm that is currently dominating the flagship space in cutting edge mobile handsets today. This is a mammoth of a chipset that has the capability to be pushed beyond its limits to render sustained performance in gaming, video streaming, photoshop rendering, multitasking, recording still and high resolution (4k, 8k) pictures, videos etc, you name it. Anything you throw at this baby, it can perform with panache and absolute flair with a level of sophistication without breaking a sweat. This phone is a testimony to real craftsmanship with a beautiful metallic textured design component inspired by nature and a gorgeous bezel free curved display that is a sight to behold. It’s slightly on the heftier side but nothing to grumble about. The battery life is the best I’ve ever got in any handsets that I’ve used so far. I easily manage to get about 2 days of battery life on a single charge with average use. No signs of heating under the hood only feels a bit warm whilst being connected to the supervooc charging brick. I guess that’s common with all li-on batteries on any devices that have fast charging capabilities, but it also cooles down in a breeze. I had a change of heart while making the upgrade from iphone 7 to iphone 15. I had almost settled my mind in trading off my old handset for an iphone 15 given the fact that i’ve been an avid iOS fan since 2016 and committed to the iphone ecosystem. It was a tough decision for me to transition to Android ecosystem but I can say with confidence that I made an excellent choice in settling for a One plus 12. Got an excellent exchange offer of Rs. 14100 for my old handset thereby effectively reducing my total investment outlay to 48.5 k INR after adjustment of cashback which I felt was a splendid deal. Although I had an iqoo 12 in mind too but I would settle for a One plus anyday given its timely release of security patches, OS upgrades, customer support, popularity and a growing fanbase. I can blindly recommend this phone to anyone looking at a flagship phone that is affordable considering the huge exchange discounts being offered by One plus in collaboration with Amazon.

AI features could have been there. Overall for the price it is really value for money Flagship phone of Oneplus. Also very good delivery service from Amazon.

Being a rather new 1+ user since 2020, upgrading from Nord to 12 was not a difficult decision. The OnePlus 12 impresses with its exceptionally fast performance and thoughtful features. The device maintains a cool temperature consistently even during moderate to intensive use. SuperVOOC charging is a game-changer, providing incredibly fast and reliable power-ups. The haptics are top-notch, delivering precise and satisfying feedback. Brightness as observed in sunlight even provides adequate visibility of the screen. Additionally, while having used the phone for a little more than 20 days, I observe OnePlus continues to enhance the user experience with regular utility feature drops, making the OnePlus 12 a standout choice for me being a tech enthusiast seeking a robust and user-friendly smartphone without burning a hole in the pocket.

Truly great product from Oneplus. This product absolutely nailed in every aspect! You can’t really find a fault except some minor shortcoming like visible glue around the ginormous camera ring
Right from the product un boxing it is spectacular. The Flowy emerald variant is just WOW. Matte finish glass but is also slippery. Avoid using without a case You may keep starting at it multiple times a day so better get a transparent case!
The software is smooth, the camera is good but there’s room for improvement. Telephoto, Wide Angle, main camera, everything was given the best lens they can find out there. But the color is inconsistent between lenses so they can work on it. They have definitely improved selfie camera also, as it performs so good in low light than Oneplus 11. I was truly impressed by selfie quality.
This phone has Haptic feedback that will rival if not better than Apple’s haptic. Even when we go from low brightness to high by adjusting the brightness lever the haptic also goes from less to intense vibration! The haptics feels so good in hand you really need to experience it in person. (Haptic lovers have a try at nearby showroom and I’m sure you’ll choose oneplus 12 right away)
The finishing is so smooth. Camera cut out attracts fingerprint other than that the back is very resistant to fingerprints. Camera lens has no protrusions as it’s a single smooth piece of glass so cleaning is easy, also looks good as a single piece.
Battery life: One word – MIND BLOWN 😱 Normal users will get 2+ days of battery life. Even heavy users will get a full day with atleast 20% left. And 100w charging is very quick and cool. I was worried whether device will heat up but it didn’t! 5400 Mah is biggest batter from Oneplus on a flagship. But in 50W wireless charging the device does get warm even in an air conditioned environment.
Oneplus has really done a great job at thermal management. Charging, gaming and the phone doesn’t get warm. Only if you try heavy stress test it does get warm.
Phone is huge and won’t fit in tiny pocket. Weight is equally distributed but long usage in one hand might feel tiring. After using Oneplys 6 this phone does feel heavy and a bit too big for me during one hand usage. But one hand gesture is easy and quick to use. I would have loved if the weight is 30 to 40 grams less. With case it feels bulky and heavy
DISPLAY: Excellent color reproduction and truly smooth. Touch response is great. Feels buttery smooth and aqua touch is a magic. This is truly a blessing for me as I suffer from wet display issue a lot of times and thanks to who ever thought to implement this tech. 90% of your wet touch issue is gone. Brightness is adequate for outdoors.
Speakers are good. Ever since I got this phone I’m not using my JBL Go speaker. Speakers does great job producing excellent sound. But my quad speakers in tablet with Dolby support does perform better than this.
OxygenOS is smooth even though the old OG version is gone, I’m starting to adapt to this new ‘colored’ version of OxygenOS too. But missing those tiny oneplus personal touch everywhere.
I’m coming to Op12 after using the OG OP6 and it’s a huge leap in every aspect.
IR blaster is a blessing. No more juggling between 4 to 5 remotes on the table for TV, DTH, Home theater, fan & AC. I can control multiple devices using one single remote. Thank you for bringing IR blaster back.
Overall this is a great product. Oneplus has really put in a lot of efforts for this product. Whatever improvements was suggested for OP 11 is implemented here.
50w wireless charging is back… This has USB 3.1… The CMF is great compared to 11. Feels very very premium in hand. Finishing can be better. Even in my phone I noticed glue around camera ring. Some phones even have a small visible gap thru which moisture mey enter.
Also this has better windows phone link integration so you can even use your mobile apps on your PC. Earlier only Samsung S series had this. Now Oneplus also has the feature.
There’s no reason for someone not to choose this product except if you prefer compact phone and stock android experience. Best value for money if you use exchange & bank offers.
