Motorola on Monday unveiled the Moto G57 Power, a new budget entrant in its G series aimed at the sub-Rs. 15,000 segment. The company highlighted a large battery, a high-refresh-rate Full HD+ display and a 50MP primary camera as the phone’s headline features, positioning it against rivals such as the Infinix Note 50s, Oppo K13, Realme P3x and Vivo T4x.
Key specifications
The Moto G57 Power sports a 6.7-inch Full HD+ LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1050 nits peak brightness. Motorola says the display uses Display Colour Boost technology and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i, while the chassis carries an IP64 rating for dust and water resistance to improve outdoor visibility and durability.
Under the hood the phone is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset and supports 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with UFS 2.2 storage. Motorola lists an 8GB RAM/128GB storage model at launch. The device runs Android 16 with Motorola’s Hello UI and the company has promised one year of OS updates and three years of security patches.
Camera and software features
Optics include a 50MP Sony LYT-600 primary sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide rear camera, while the front houses an 8MP selfie shooter. Both front and rear cameras record video up to 1080p. Motorola is bundling a suite of Moto AI photography tools — including an AI Photo Enhancement Engine, Auto Night Vision, AI Portrait effects and Auto Smile Capture — and the phone also offers Google Photos AI features such as Magic Eraser, Photo Unblur and Magic Editor.
Battery, audio and durability
The handset is built around a 7000 mAh battery with 30W wired charging support. It retains a 3.5mm headphone jack, a stereo speaker setup with Dolby Atmos, and dual microphones. Motorola also cites MIL-STD 810H certification for additional durability assurances.
Price, offers and availability
The Moto G57 Power 5G is priced at Rs. 14,999 for the 8GB/128GB model and will be offered in three PANTONE colourways: Regatta, Corsair and Fluidity. Launch offers include a Rs. 1,000 bank discount or a Rs. 1,000 additional exchange discount with SBI and Axis Bank cards, plus 3- and 6-month no-cost EMI options. Sales begin on 3 December at 12 PM through Flipkart, Motorola’s online store and offline retail partners.
Market positioning
With its combination of a high-refresh-rate display, large battery and AI-backed camera features at a sub-Rs. 15,000 price point, Motorola aims to make the Moto G57 Power a competitive option for buyers seeking endurance and software polish in the budget segment.
