OnePlus 15 India launch Nov 13 with 165Hz OLED, 120W charging

OnePlus has scheduled the OnePlus 15 to debut in China on 27 October, and new reports indicate the phone could reach global markets, including India, on 13 November. If accurate, this launch timing would move OnePlus away from its usual early-January schedule and place the OnePlus 15 ahead of the expected Galaxy S26 series rollout.
Performance and software
The OnePlus 15 is confirmed to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. The device is expected to ship with OxygenOS 16 preinstalled, making it one of the first phones to run OnePlus’s newest software iteration.
Display and memory
Leaks say the handset will use a 6.78-inch BOE X3 LTPO OLED panel with a 1.5K resolution and a high 165Hz refresh rate. The panel is tipped to achieve a global peak brightness of 1800 nits. Memory and storage are expected to include 16GB LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
Design and build
The OnePlus 15 reportedly adopts a design similar to the OnePlus 13s with a squarish camera module. The company has replaced its signature alert slider with a new physical control called the “Plus Key.” The Sand Storm colourway has already been officially shown by OnePlus, and leaks point to additional Black and Purple variants. The phone is said to measure 8.1mm in thickness and weigh between 211 and 215 grams depending on the colour, with an IP69 rating for dust and water protection.
Battery and charging
Leaked specifications indicate a large 7300 mAh battery, with support for 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging, promising extended endurance and rapid refuelling.
Camera hardware
OnePlus appears to be moving away from Hasselblad-branded optics in favour of its new in-house Detail Max engine. Camera hardware leaks describe a triple 50MP setup: a 50MP Sony LYT-700 primary sensor with OIS and 1/1.5-inch size, a 50MP Samsung JN5 ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP Samsung JN5 3.5x telephoto periscope. A 32MP autofocus front camera is expected for selfies.
Availability and next steps
OnePlus has shared additional promotional images of the OnePlus 15 on its Weibo account ahead of the official launch. The company is expected to confirm final specifications, pricing, and regional availability at the China event on 27 October, with a possible global announcement following on 13 November.
