Google Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL Specs Leaked Before It’s Launch
Google is expected to Launch the Pixel 10 series on August 20 including the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold. Pixel 10 series will be a major upgrade to the last year’s Pixel 9 series. Google hasn’t released any details about the Pixel 10 Series, but there are plenty of leaks and rumours about the look and specifications of new Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL, before its launch. So, let’s talk about what are the specifications that came out.
Design
There won’t be any major change on the design. Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL will look nearly identical to last year’s Pixel 9 Pro and Pixel 9 Pro XL. In March, renders of the Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, and Pixel 10 Pro XL came out and it’s hard to tell any difference between the Pixel 10 series and the Pixel 9 series at first look.
Display
The Pixel 10 is rumoured to feature a 6.3-inch FHD+ OLED display and Pixel 10 Pro XL feature a 6.8-inch OLED display. Both displays will support 120Hz refresh rate with LTPO technology (1Hz ~ 120Hz) and the peak brightness will go up to 3000 nits. Both phones will have the Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection on the display.
Performance
Both the Google Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL are powered by the Tensor G5 chipset with up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, but the storage options are different. The Pixel 10 Pro will be available in 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB UFS 4.0 storage options, but the Pixel 10 Pro XL won’t be available in 128GB option.
Software
Pixel 10 series will debut with Android 16 and provide 7 years of major updates and 7 years of security patches. That means this series will get updates up to Android 23.
Camera
Both phones will feature a triple rear camera setup and a single front camera. Both phones will have 50MP Main, 48MP 5X telephoto, 48MP ultrawide and 42MP front camera. Rumours are that both the ultrawide and telephoto sensors will support macro photography, but there’s difference between the focus distance. The Pixel 10 Pro will have a focus distance of 2cm and Pixel 10 Pro XL will have 10cm.
Battery
As per the rumour Pixel 10 Pro will have a 4870 mAh battery and the Pixel 10 Pro XL will offer 5200 mAh, the largest battery size ever in a Pixel. Google may also increase the changing speeds, with up to 29W for Pixel 10 Pro and 39W for Pixel 10 Pro XL, along with 15W wireless and Qi2 wireless charging.
