Vivo V60e 5G Launched in India with 200MP Camera, 6500 mAh Battery

Vivo on October 7 officially launched the V60e 5G in India, positioning the handset as an affordable, camera-focused smartphone with a redesigned look and high-capability internals.
Design and display
The V60e 5G debuts a pill-shaped camera module, a quad-curved AMOLED display and a matte-finish texture that Vivo says gives a premium feel. The 6.77-inch Quad Curved AMOLED panel offers a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1600 nits peak brightness, support for 1.07 billion colours, Low Blue Light certification and Diamond Shield Glass for scratch resistance.

Performance
Vivo equips the V60e 5G with the MediaTek Dimensity 7360 Turbo chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of internal storage, delivering faster and smoother day-to-day performance.
Camera system
The phone is built around a dual rear camera setup that includes a reported 200MP main sensor with OIS, 30x zoom capability and 85mm portrait imaging, plus an 8MP ultrawide unit. Multifocal Portrait support covers 23mm, 35mm and 50mm focal lengths and introduces an 85mm Close-Up Portrait option. The front camera is a 50MP autofocus sensor. AI-powered imaging features include AI Aura Light Portrait, AI Festival Portrait, AI Four Season Portrait and Image Expander modes, and 4K video recording is supported on both front and rear cameras.
Battery, durability and connectivity
The V60e 5G houses a 6500 mAh battery with 90W wired fast charging. The device carries IP68 and IP69 dust and water protection ratings. Connectivity and extras include NFC, an IR blaster and a 360-degree omnidirectional antenna designed to improve network reception.
Software and AI tools
The phone runs FunTouchOS 15 based on Android 15 out of the box. Vivo has added several AI features such as AI Captions, AI Erase 3.0, AI Smart Call Assistant and integration with Gemini to enhance everyday interactions.
Price and availability
Vivo will sell the V60e 5G in Elite Purple and Noble Gold. Pricing starts at Rs. 29,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, with 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB configurations priced at Rs. 31,999 and Rs. 33,999 respectively. Sales begin October 10 via Vivo’s official website, Flipkart, Amazon and offline retail channels.
