Vivo X300 FE spotted on IMEI and EEC, global launch likely

Vivo’s next compact X-series handset, reportedly called the X300 FE and carrying model number V2537, has appeared in the IMEI database and received Eurasian Economic Commission certification, signalling that a global release is likely imminent.

Certification and database listing

A device registered under model number V2537 appears in the IMEI database and has also cleared EEC homologation. The EEC listing confirms regulatory approval for sales in Eurasian and nearby markets and strengthens expectations that Vivo will bring the X300 FE to regions beyond China.

Context: successor to the X200 FE

The X300 FE is expected to succeed the Vivo X200 FE, a compact high-end phone launched in June 2025 that was notable for its Zeiss-branded camera system. Vivo has not officially announced the X300 FE, but the IMEI and EEC entries provide concrete evidence that the handset is in the rollout pipeline.

How the X300 FE fits into the X300 series

Vivo has confirmed an October 13 launch in China for the X300 series, which will include the X300 and X300 Pro. Those two models will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 platform and ship with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16. The X300 FE is expected to be a later, more affordable addition to the family and will likely adopt OriginOS 6 on international variants as Vivo phases out FunTouch OS in key markets.

What to expect from the X300 lineup and the FE model

  • Processor and software: Dimensity 9500 and Android 16-based OriginOS 6 for the main X300 models.
  • Camera focus: Continued Vivo–Zeiss partnership, with the X300 Pro tipped to feature a 200MP sensor and periscope telephoto. The X300 FE is expected to retain flagship-grade imaging in a more compact, value-oriented package.
  • Displays: X300 may offer a 6.31-inch 120Hz panel; X300 Pro may use a 6.78-inch flat 120Hz OLED. The FE model will likely be the more compact option.
  • Battery and charging: Expected improvements across the series. The X300 Pro is tipped to carry a 7,000mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging. The regular X300 could include a 6,000mAh cell with 90W wired charging.
  • Positioning: The X300 FE is expected to be the affordable, compact variant in the X300 family and may launch after the standard and Pro models.
